I am delighted that Mr. Satterfield is willing to come forward, in the face the strong opposition, and offer the citizens a true alternative to the sadly corrupt establishment. He is the type of individual that we all wish would run for office more often. Now we need to do our part to see that he can indeed make it into office so he can stop the wasteful and corrupt spending that has plagued our city for years. I want to endorse Mr. Satterfield in the strongest possible terms. He is a good man and most importantly, he is an honest man!
I have known Guy Satterfield since 2004. I have got to know him and his wife Kathy personally as a neighbor and got to be really good friends with them. I have had some really good conversations about what I see wrong in this society and local goverment. We both have some very similar views on what is wrong with our system. “Show me the money”. It is so clear that a hand full of people control this city. If you have lived here for any period of time we all know who they are. It baffles me that we continue to put these people in these positions to see the same thing done over and over. I’m voting for Guy this coming election becasue I feel he would have my best interest at heart and use a common sense aproach on how to run this beautiful city. Just like our present goverment it isn’t any different with our local branch. I feel he would spend our money like it was his own. Being with the city as long as he was he’s seen the waste in our city goverment. He lives a simple life and has a wonderful family. If your tired of the ” same ole, same ole” join me in electing Guy Satterfield Mayor of Chattanooga.. Lets stop this “show me the money” faternity and make comon sense changes to this goverment. Wouldn’t it be cool to have a mayor that would ride a Harley to work? Good luck my friend.
Please read this article by Guy. People on the wwta sewer system are in for a big shock when they get there next bill. Thank you for this information Guy and I hope you win. It would be nice to see an uncommon man with common sense as mayor for a change. Ron Littlefield has been a disaster!!!
I don’t have the funds to make a monetary donation at this time, but I believe in you and support your campaign for Mayor of Chattanooga. I would be happy to help in any other way. I can donate my time, put a sign in my yard, a sticker on my car, hand out flyers, etc. Please let me know any way I can be of assistance. Thank you.
Mr Satterfield,
I , like many of your supporters, am not rich and am unable to donate much financially. But I am able to donate time. Please let me know how I can help your efforts to make Chattanooga a better place to live.
Mr. Satterfield’s comments present a reasonable and — in my opinion — achievable path to improved city operations in all of the areas he mentions. I plan to vote for Mr. Satterfield and to suggest that my relatives and friends do the same.
We have lived in Chattanooga for more than 30 years, and have watched the growth of this city with mixed emotions; downtown renewal was seen by many as wasteful, new industry was viewed by a few as deplorable … and since growth brought with it more traffic, I guess they were somehow “correct” — but gangs, decaying properties, wasted resources, failed public services (underpaid and understaffed police and fire personnel) are real and present dangers which have become worse, even as our little city’s public face has been beautified. Chattanooga’s inner health and beauty are endangered now, and those must be attended to by someone with no other goals in mind.
Mr. Satterfield, You have my vote. It is a new experience having a candidate who dumps the rhetoric and simply tells it like it is. What you say makes perfect sense and I can infer from your comments that you know you will be swimming upstream when you try to push your programs against entrenched bureaucrats. I hope enough intelligent people go to the polls and that you get the chance.
one of andy burke supporters called my home asking to put up his sign in my yard . ok isaid . but after looking into who should really be our new mayor I WILL VOTE FOR SATTERFIELD. YOU CAN REPLACE THE ANDY BURKE SIGN AT 4115 Bonny Oaks Dr.with a Satterfield and you can count on my vote.
